Lizardman pressure in the hidden-road collapse
Lizardmen make the bestiary feel less exclusively undead, infernal, or alchemical. They suggest old wet routes, cave margins, and territorial violence with enough intelligence to read as organized danger.
They are useful shared monsters because their silhouettes sit between beast and soldier: readable in combat, but still strange enough for the hidden-road world.
