Goblin pressure in the hidden-road collapse
Goblins are familiar enough to orient the player and strange enough to belong in the road-bound ecosystem. They act as a bridge between classic fantasy expectations and Via Occulta’s darker infrastructure-driven collapse.
Because they are immediately legible, they make a good anchor family for the bestiary.
