Swordsman as a role in the hidden-road world
The Swordsman line is the most straightforward expression of Luciphilus as a classic JRPG expedition game. Each level reads like a cleaner, more disciplined stage of the same road-tested fighter rather than a completely different character.
The Swordsman line is the spine of the adventuring cast: the person who takes the route after Tenebrio has found it and before Opiphilus has fully rebuilt it.
